The Steve Show at Corktown Studios!

Steve and I collaborated to put up an implied shelter structure for our show at Corktown Studios. This is our first large permanent public piece.

Inside the gallery there are proposals posted for this piece and future pieces. A detailed proposal worked out in Rhino really helps to make a quick installation. The entire piece was put together onsite in three days.

Here are the results of the trophy commission the Fortress received.  This trophy will be presented after every Nascar event to the winning manufacturer.

TechShop Celebrates Its First Year!

In the weeks leading up to TechShop's one year anniversary I was tasked with creating a Star Wars theme bike. The following is the result of nobody saying a life size X-Wing on a recumbent bike is a bad idea.

Andrea is an elite fighter pilot.

It may not have been the fastest bike in the race, but it did turn some heads.

My First Chair Prototype!

This is my first chair fully designed and fabricated by me, using the equipment we have at Fortress Studios.

Devil Head Sauna Stove Project Complete!

Steve McShane and I have recently finished a wood fired sauna stove that was put together for Henri Jokinen and his sauna project at North End Studios.

Silent Collaboration Proposal!

A sketch for my first performance collaboration with Steve McShane.  I have heard that the best workers can work together in total silence.  They set about their tasks and intuitively know when to assist one another. In this work we bring our shop into the gallery space to test how well we can work together while diagnosing and repairing an old motorcycle.
